Our Impact

PEACE helped improve my understanding of chemistry immensely. Their dedication and genuine desire to see me strive made my learning so much more stress-free and enjoyable. It was their ability to break down the difficult concepts into simpler and more understandable terms that clarified all of my previous confusion. I owe a large part of my success to all of their hard work.

I heard of PEACE tutoring from my friend when we were both struggling in Chem 1A. The PEACE tutors helped me think more critically when it came to these technical courses, and what I liked the best was the one-on-one time they gave you. I 100% recommend PEACE tutoring — they are nice, helpful, and motivational!

PEACE is an organization dedicated to enhancing academic interests around Cal and providing students with the necessary guides towards the route of success. My experience with PEACE dates back to my second semester of freshman year, where I got to meet one of the co-founders and gained valuable advice for studying and course selection. I believe that PEACE is an excellent place to learn and have fun.

Seven Mistakes I’ve Made (or others) as a Freshman

WRITTEN BY AMEEK BINDRA (PEACE TUTOR AND ADVISOR) Warren Buffett once said that,“It’s good to learn from your mistakes. It’s better to learn from other people’s mistakes.“ As a first-year student at such a huge school, it is not uncommon to feel anxious and lost. I remember on the plane ride over to San...
