Azaad is UC Berkeley’s premiere Bollywood dance group. Every year we perform across the nation, competing to be crowned the best at what we do. Besides competitions we also perform at private events such as weddings and festivals to add a touch of culture to these celebratory occasions. Each year our focus goes into creating a spectacular 8-minute performance that will dazzle the crowd. In order to do so, we spend countless hours building props and stitching costumes to make our performance as professional, and as entertaining as possible. To us, Azaad is more than just a dance group, it is a family.”
