AOC at Berkeley aims to strengthen the Operations Research field amongst students and professionals at UC Berkeley and beyond the Bay Area. We will be holding events with guest speakers from the data science/optimization/analytics industry, going on industry field trips to companies known for its contributions to the data optimization and analytics field (ie: Cisco, Apple, Intel), and creating social events to bring students in this field closer together.
Membership is determined by a short paragraph written by any prospective members on why they want to join AOC and what they can contribute.
Only currently registered students, faculty, and staff may be active members in a registered student organization. Only active members may vote or hold office.
